WhatsApp Setup
Connect your WhatsApp Business Account to Safravo using Embedded Signup.
Safravo integrates directly with the WhatsApp Business Cloud API. Connecting your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) lets you send and receive messages, use rich interactive templates, and automate responses via the Safravo API or Inbox.
Prerequisites
Before starting, make sure you have a Facebook Business Manager account with Admin access, a phone number not currently registered with the consumer WhatsApp app or the standalone WhatsApp Business App, and your business's legal details for Meta verification.
Connect your account
Launch Embedded Signup
In the dashboard, go to Settings → Channels, click Connect Channel, and select WhatsApp. Then click Connect with Facebook — this opens a secure popup from Meta.
Complete the Meta flow
Inside the Meta popup, log in to Facebook with the account that has Admin access to your Business Manager. Select or create a Business Portfolio, create a WhatsApp Business Account with a descriptive name, set your Display Name (must comply with Meta's Display Name Guidelines), then verify your phone number via SMS or Voice and enter the 6-digit code.
Once verification is complete, the popup closes automatically and Safravo finalises the connection.
Verify the connection
After the popup closes, you are redirected to Settings → Channels. Your WhatsApp number should appear with an Active status.
To confirm: send a WhatsApp message from your personal phone to your new business number, then open the Inbox in the dashboard — your message should appear immediately.
Important restrictions
24-hour customer service window
When a customer sends you a message, you have exactly 24 hours to reply with free-form text. After 24 hours, you must use a pre-approved Message Template to re-engage them.
Business verification and messaging limits
A newly connected account starts in an unverified state with a limit of 250 business-initiated conversations per day. Complete Business Verification in your Facebook Business Manager to increase this limit. Learn more.
